Cruising around San Francisco

Passion brings people together, total strangers may brake the ice within just moments and get lost in long conversations, like they knew each other for ages, eventually becoming good friends. I feel blessed to be able to call some beautiful souls around the world my friends whom I share great stories with! And it all started with random encounters during my travels, discovering common passion and being open to share the experience together!

I had big plans for my San Francisco trip. I wanted to take advantage of great weather, smooth roads, stunning views and cruise around on a motorcycle one day – something I don’t get doing much any more and truly miss. So when I came across some obstacles and was sure the plan won’t work out, the disappointment was quite big.

And then, like it was meant to be, I met someone who lives in San Francisco, shares my passion, liked the idea I had and … decided to make my plans come true. Another beautiful soul!

Plan for a trip included first day after my arrival and it started with yummy breakfast just outside the city. It was a random choice, but Barefoot Café delivered what I like – healthy food and fresh good quality coffee. If I ever get to be back in the neighbourhood, I’ll go with a visit for sure.

Further on, it got only better. Riding towards the Ocean through State Parks, National Preserves and along bays was truly energizing! Horse ranches, local farms, even some wild life were an often view. Sunny weather and fresh air made me feel strong, relaxed and happy!

And then we reached the coast… breathtaking!!!

I wanted to stay there! It’s hard to express how good I felt… Riding itself was already like a remedy for my lately stressful life. It always helps me to relax and takes me away from everyday problems. Helps to clear my mind. It’s like a regenerating break from the rest of the world. Just me, a bike and a road…

Unfortunately we had to head back at some point. On the way we planned a diner in one of many Oyster Companies along Tomales Bay. We chose The Marshall Store for it’s cool vibe and the view from the dining area. Oysters were fresh and extremely tasty!

From there we took a different road on the way back to the city. We passed couple of very cute small towns where I saw few places I wouldn’t mind being able to call MY home 😉 I like California very much and San Francisco in particular. It has this special vibe that makes me feel welcome and relaxed. I can see myself living there and that means something.

Just before end of the day I was gifted with yet another stunning view of the Pacific Ocean. The picture I took with my eyes will stay with me for a long time.
